Coop-A-Loop

Coopers Hawk is a wine bar that I have always wanted to try, in fact I wanted to make it my gassie adventure, but couldn't get reservations made. Lucky for me Beth had the same itching for something yummy on the plaza.

As we walked in we got a little glass of warmed up wine, which really hit the spot on that cold night. As we got seated I noticed the view in this place was spectacular the problem is there was even better views that you could have had and with the plaza lights still on I really would have liked to sit on that side of the restaurant, maybe next year!

As grandpa ordered 2 bottles of wine that were enjoyed by all one of the funnier things happen in my opinion, when Justin was asked if he wanted any wine he said no, when he found out that grandpa was buying of course his answer was yes! After those 2 bottles were gone another bottle was bought than another than all the sudden after we were all warm and toasty inside Justin got the craving for another bottle, but I think all of us had just the right amount or maybe a little too much ;-)

As for the food everything and I do mean everything that I tried was just amazing from the apps to the crab bisque to my short ribs. In fact we had to ask them to stop bringing out bread because we physically could not stop eating it!

As for our waiter, I am not sure if its just good luck or if its cause they really think I am nifty, once again was amazing! as for price it was steep when looking at the menu, but when you taste the food you feel much more comfortable about it. Oh and having every one else buy the wine for you doesn't hurt either!

I would love to come for a happy hour split a small meal or and app drink some wine and just enjoy the plaza.

Coop-A-Loop I mean Coopers Hawk gets a 4.6
